What is the conveyancing technician?

The Level 4 conveyancing technician apprenticeship trains you to handle property transactions from initial instruction to completion.

You'll qualify as a technician member of the Council for Licensed Conveyancers (CLC) and work in residential or commercial conveyancing.

What you'll do

Manage residential and commercial property transactions.

Order and interpret property searches.

Draft contracts, transfer deeds and supporting documents.

Handle exchange and completion with clients and other parties.

Year 1
Foundations

Learn conveyancing law and procedure.

Year 2
Full transactions + EPA

Handle whole transactions, sit the end-point assessment.

Entry requirements

Requirements are set by each firm, but most look for:

3 GCSEs at grade 4/C or above (English & Maths required)
Strong attention to detail
UK/Irish/settled status (for funding)
Right to work in England for the duration
