What is the advanced paralegal apprenticeship?

The Level 4 advanced paralegal apprenticeship is designed for paralegals ready to take on more responsibility. You'll manage your own files, take instructions directly from clients under supervision, and start drafting substantive documents.

It's a common stepping stone to the Level 6 CILEx apprenticeship or a Solicitor Apprenticeship for those looking to go all the way.

What you'll do

Draft more complex documents including statements of case and legal opinions.

Attend hearings and client meetings as part of your development.
